What age group and gender can join?

Scouting in Sutton District is open to Young People from age 6 to 25yrs and is open to any gender.
Our volunteers are aged 14 and over and are led by trained adults. All are volunteers and are not salaried.

The age ranges for ranges for each section are:

• Beavers: 6 - 8 yrs
• Cubs: 8 - 10½ yrs
• Scouts: 10½ - 14 yrs
• Explorers:14 - 18 yrs
• Network: 18 - 25yrs

Note: HQ have recently launched "Squirrels" for 4 - 5 yrs, we do not currently run this section in Sutton.
